Register to Vote at ShopRite on Tuesday

Local League of Women Voters chapter is holding special registration event.

Residents can register to vote outside of ShopRite Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. as part of Voter Registration Day.

The League of Women Voters of Wayne (LWV) is running the event.

The League’s goal is to engage new voters and people who might have moved and need to register to vote in the general election Nov. 6. Tuesday is National Voter Registration Day.

The League is a nonpartisan political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government.

For more information about how to register or learn more about the voting process visit the township’s voter registration information website.

For more information about the LWV’s Wayne chapter call 800-792-8683.

Oct. 16 is the last day to register to vote in New Jersey.

If you don't vote I don't want to hear you complain later. :-)
