Park includes new, interactive equipment.

Kids in Wayne have a new place to play.

The Parks and Recreation Department recently announced that the children’s playground at Dave Waks Memorial Park is now open after a complete renovation.

The announcement noted several changes to the park, including a brighter color scheme, new interactive play equipment, barrier-free play equipment, new swings, and multi-level slides for children 5 – 12 years of age.
