Last Day to Register to Vote is Oct. 16

Residents can apply for a mail in ballot until Oct. 30.

The last day to register to vote in the general and board of education election on Nov. 6 is Tuesday, Oct. 16.

Oct. 16 is also the last day to file a change of address or a change of name application with the township clerk's office.

The clerk's office will be open extended hours that day, 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Residents may apply by mail for a mail-in ballot to vote until Tuesday, Oct. 30.

After that, residents will be able to apply for a mail-in ballot in person at the Passaic County Clerk's Office, 401 Grand St. in Paterson, from Oct. 31 until Nov. 5 at 3 p.m.
