Gov. Christie Named 'Father of the Year'

The National Father's Day/Mother's Day Council announced this year's 'Father of the Year' Monday.

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is the Father of the Year.

According to an Associated Press report, the National Father’s Day/Mother’s Day Council announced Monday that they have named him the “Father of the Year” 2014. The report, which appeared on abcnews.com and numerous other media outlets, noted that Christie often talks of his four kids, who range in age from 10 to 20, in public.

This year’s other Father of the Year honoree is shoe designer Vince Camuto, the report said.
