Congressman to Visit Wayne Schools

U.S. Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen will speak to sixth graders on Friday.

U.S. Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen (NJ-11) will visit students at two Wayne schools Friday during the conclusion of a three-day tour of several area schools.

The congressman will meet with sixth graders at 8:30 a.m. at the Anthony Wayne Middle School and then around 9:30 a.m. with sixth graders at George Washington Middle School.

Frelinghuysen regularly visits local schools, in addition to hosting townhall meetings throughout his district, which spans parts of Morris, Essex, Passaic and Sussex counties. He speaks to students about honoring their country and veterans who have or are currently serving overseas and asks kids to share their expectations of their government so that he can bring their feedback to his colleagues.
