Wayne FD Cuts Back Large Brush Fire
It broke out near the Toys R Us Headquarters, report said.
The Wayne Fire Department successfully contained a large brush fire that broke out in a wooded area near the Toys R Us Headquarters on Geoffrey Way Thursday, NorthJersey.com reported.
According to the report, the multiple alarm fire was likely fueled by the dry land and windy air. Fire officials sais the large blaze was about 200 feet away from residential homes, the report said. No one was injured in the fire, it said.
The Pompton Lakes and Oakland Fire Departments also responded to the blaze.
