Two Workers Injured in Wayne Parking Garage Collapse

Collapse happened on the William Paterson University campus, report says.

Two construction workers were injured when an incomplete parking garage collapsed Friday at William Paterson University in Wayne, nj.com reported.

At about 7:45 a.m., a precast concrete slab fell, and hit another causing that one to fall, the report said.

According to the report, the two workers sustained minor injuries and were transported to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for evaluation and treatment. Work was temporarily suspended at the site, it said.

The $23 million parking garage is supposed to have 1,000 spots and open this fall, it said.
