Bicyclist Sought as Police Probe Home Burglaries

Authorities continue to investigate break-ins on Valley Road and near Anthony Wayne Middle School.

Authorities are looking for a man riding a bicycle as they investigate burglaries that recently occurred in town.

Chief John Reardon said Tuesday that police are looking for a man traveling on a bicycle in connection with burglaries that occurred near Anthony Wayne Middle School in the past three months. Residents living near Anthony Wayne say they don’t feel safe since the burglaries occurred.

Three burglaries also occurred at apartments on Valley Road last month.

Reardon said police are “continuing to investigate all of these burglaries.”

Anyone with information regarding the burglaries or who witness suspicious activity or individuals in their neighborhood should contact the Wayne Police Department at 973-694-0600.
