Men Stole $2,400 Worth of Jeans, Police Say

Two males reportedly took $2,400 worth of jeans from Bloomingdale's in Willowbrook earlier this week.

Police are looking for two men they say reportedly took more than $2,400 worth of jeans from the department store on Monday afternoon.

An incident report filed by Officer Lorenzo Passano states that loss prevention officers observed two men in the store's men's department rearranging True Religion jeans on a display counter.

One of the men pulled a bag out of his shorts while the other placed 13 pairs of jeans inside the bag and then re-arranged the pants left on the display to make the shelves look full, the report states.

Then men then ran out of the store and got into what appeared to be a silver Acura TL shortly after 2:30 p.m.; the vehicle then left the parking lot, the report states.

Surveillance footage could not get a clear photo of the driver or the license plate on the car, Passano reported.

Loss Prevention Officer Brian Lopez said he beleived that the men were involved in two previous incidents at the store in June.
