Reminder: Officials To Host Information Session On Burglaries Saturday

Representatives from police department, county sheriff's department, and county prosecutor's office to attend meeting.

Local and county officials will host an information session on Saturday to discuss the recent rash of burglaries that have occurred in North Jersey and Wayne recently.

The meeting will be held at  from 1 to 2 p.m.

Representatives from the Detective Bureau, Community Policing Unit, the Passaic County Sheriff’s Department and the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office will attend the event.

Officials will give tips on how residents can better safeguard their homes and neighborhoods.

More than two dozen burglaries and attempted burglaries have been reported in town since the end of April. Jewelry and cash were taken from several of the homes.
