Heroin Network Bust Details Coming From Officials

Federal, state, and county officials will discuss how they brought down a multi-state operation that sold millions of dollars worth of the drug.

Officials will announce the takedown of a major regional heroin network in Paterson at the Passaic County Sheriff’s office Tuesday morning.

State Attorney General Jeffrey Chiesa will announce the takedown of the network that was reportedly selling millions of dollars in heroin in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Wasshington, D.C., out of a series of heroin mills and stash houses in Paterson.

Passaic County Sheriff Richard Berdnik and representatives from the federal Drug Enforcement Agency, and the New Jersey State Police, in addition to Chiesa, will announce details of the takedown at a press conference Tuesday.
