NJSP Cancels Silver Alert, Finds Missing Pequannock Man

Man was located unharmed Tuesday night, police say.

A man who went missing in Morris County was found Tuesday night, the New Jersey State Police announced on Twitter.

According to the announcement, the man was unharmed.

Tuesday afternoon, the NJSP had issued a Silver Alert saying that the Pequannock Township Police Department was asking for help from locals in finding a missing "at risk" person.

Peter Vanduffelen, 70, was described as a white male, 5'9", 200 lbs, blue eyes, and brown hair. 

According to the alert, Vanduffelen suffers from diabetes and Alzheimer's Disease.
