Car Fire Damages Bobolink Court Home

Car caught on fire that was parked in the driveway, damaging the outside of the home.

A Boblink Court home was damaged when flames from a car fire made their way up the exterior of the house.

Firefighters responded to a car on fire in the driveway of the home at about 8 a.m. Thursday morning. 

Flames eminating from the vehicle spread to the side of the house and worked their way up the structure before being extinguished.

Wayne Det/Sgt. Al Strumolo said that the fire did not appear suspicious.

The home is located in the High Mountain Village neighborhood off of Hamburg Turnpike.

Emergency service personnel, including the Wayne Volunteer First Aid Squad and the Volunteer Fire Department, responded to the incident. 

It is unknown if anyone was injured during the incident.

Fire Commissioner Barry Turner could not be reached for comment on Thursday.
