Burglary Reported on Timothy Road

Police: 42-inch flat-screen television was taken.

Police are reporting that a residence on Timothy Road was burglarized Thursday.

Capt. Jim Clarke said that officer Thomas Antonucci responded to a reported burglary on the street at 9:27 p.m. Thursday.

Clarke said that the homeowner stated the home was burglarized sometime between 7 a.m. and 9:27 p.m..

Clarke said that the suspect gained access to the house through an unlocked side window after punching holes through the exterior screen window.

Clarke said that a 42-inch, flat-screen television and $50 were taken from the residence.

Clarke also said that residents in the neighborhood were canvassed, with one reporting that at approximately 1:30 p.m., the family dog began barking at something, which they felt was unusual. 

Police said detectives processed the scene for evidence and are continuing the investigation.
