New track at George Washington Middle School

I recently overheard a conversation at Local coffee shop about the shared services involving the Wayne Board of Ed and the township. Since I'm not working I take the advantage to walk my dog around the new track that's being built. Back to over hearing the conversation I had to jump and put my two cents in, why is the mayor taking credit for helping to build the track when I can only state what I saw, and what I saw was the township no more than 3 days working and that's all. The board of education employees have been working there day and sometimes night. Am I missing something here as a tax payer ? Shared services in my opinion is 50/50 is this a political move? as a tax payer I would like to know what did the township actually do in participating with helping the Wayne Board of Education. Again I maybe wrong but all I've seen are school employes since this job started.
