Wayne Voters Overwhelmingly Back Lonegan, Booker
Candidates will square off on Oct. 16 in a special election.
The Wayne residents who voted in the Special Primary Tuesday overwhelmingly voted for Republican Steve Lonegan and Democrat Cory Booker.

Booker and Lonegan both secured their party’s nomination to run for the U.S. Senate seat of the late Frank Lautenberg. Voters will choose who succeeds Lautenberg in the Oct. 16 general election.
