Wayne Hills Alum Launches New Children's Clothing Line

Jolie Della Valle creates Ants in the Pants line of clothes for infants and toddlers.

Jolie Della Valle is passionate about fashion. She has taken that passion that created her own line of children’s clothes called Ants in the Pants.

The 27-year-old Wayne Hills alumnus always had a passion for the fashion industry. A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, she always knew she wanted to design clothes for a living.

“I absolutely love creating something new, something fresh,” Della Valle said. “There’s such a freedom with children’s clothes that you don’t have with other kinds of clothes.”

The Ants in the Pants line features clothes for children 6 months to 4 years old. The line includes pants, T-shirts, onesies, and diaper covers. The line’s signature product is the reversible blue denim pants. Many of the products are reversible and feature ants on them.

“The clothes are play clothes. They are meant to be fun and comfortable for kids when they are having fun and wiggling around,” Della Valle said. “When children wear Ants in the Pants, I want them to feel the love and passion that I put into making them and embracing the inner, unique silliness they all possess.”

Della Valle makes each project by hand herself.

“I care very much about taking the time to make the best product possible and that may take a little longer than other companies, but I feel it is well worth it,” Della Valle said.

Della Valle will be hosting a launch party for the new products at Blush Boutique on Saturday from 3 to 8 p.m.
