The Wayne Policemen’s Benevolence Association Local 136 is hosting its annual Toys for Tots toy drive.
It is the fourth consecutive year the police union is participating in the program. Collected toys are donated to less fortunate children.
“Last year’s drive was a huge success and we are looking to building upon that,” said Officer Luis Oliveira.
Toys should be new and unwrapped. Toys can be donated for children of any age, but there is a special need for toys for 3- to 8-year-olds.
They may be dropped off at several locations in Wayne until Dec. 17:
- The Wayne Police Headquarters lobby in the Municipal Complex on Valley Road
- The Wayne Pubic Library
- A&P supermarket on Valley Road
- Shop & Shop on Hamburg Turnpike
- ShopRite on Hamburg Turnpike.
