Police Deliver Toys for Tots Donations

Toys will be distributed to children in North Jersey this Christmas season.

Member of the Wayne Police Department delivered two truck loads of donated toys to the Picattiny Arsenal in Dover as part of the department's annual Toys for Tots charity drive.
"We're so happy we can collect and donate these toys to families who really need it and make their holiday season and little brighter," said Officer Luis Oliveira, one of the organizers of the drive. "It's a great feeling and we're thankful to everyone who donated this year."
Toys for Tots is a national initiative run by the U.S. Marine Corps. Donation boxes were placed throughout Wayne. Dozens of toys were donated this year.
Officers John Culic, Corey Stevens, and Oliveira delivered the toys to Dover Wednesday.
