Cheryll Forsatz of Wayne was recognized by the National Asian Pacific American Corporate Achievement Awards for her communications career at McDonald's.

Wayne resident Cheryll Forsatz, who serves as director of Communications for McDonald’s New York Metro region, was one of ten recipients of the 2013 annual National Asian Pacific American Corporate Achievement Awards.

The awards, given at a Friday, Nov. 8 dinner in San Francisco, were sponsored by Asian Pacific American Advocates (APAA), a national membership driven organization dedicated to advancing the social, political, and economic well-being of Asian Pacific Americans (APAs).

The annual ceremony recognizes APAs in the corporate sector who exemplify not only excellence in their profession, but also who demonstrate leadership and commitment in their respective communities, according to a APAA press release.
