High Schools Raise Money for Breast Cancer Research

One-day bake sale brings in more than $640 for the Susan G. Koman for the Cure.

The two Wayne high schools, in a partnership with Sodexo Foodservice, raised more than $640 for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

The national non-profit raises millions of dollars a year to help fund breast cancer research. It funds a variety of initiatives, from breast cancer research and patient care to Sodexo is the school district's foodservice provider.

Pink bagels, which were donated by Sam’s Bagels on Hamburg Turnpike, cake balls, cookies, and cupcakes were sold at the schools.
