The Wayne Rotary will hold its annual Fruit Sale this weekend.

The non-profit will sell cases of Florida oranges, grapefruits for $40. Cases of Empire and Golden Delicious apples will cost $35 a case.

The club will donate funds taken in from the sale to the Wayne First Aid Squad, local Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops, nursing homes, and the Wayne Boys & Girls Club, among others.

“This is an excellent opportunity for people to support Wayne and surrounding area charities by buying freshly delivered fruit, taking advantage of our bulk purchasing power, to obtain lower those generally charged,” said Alan Katz, rotary member.

The fruit sale will be held in the parking lot of Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, 567 Ratzer Road. Cases will be loaded directly into customers’ vehicles.

For more information call Katz at 973-709-0500, ext. 1501.
