Wayne Teachers Named 'March for Babies' Ambassadors

Fundraiser Wednesday in Wayne will raise money for 'Caden's Crew.'

A Lafayette Elementary School teacher and her family are the local ambassadors for this year’s March of Dimes Walk for Babies, happening next weekend at Wayne Valley High School.

When Bethany Agrati and her husband Matthew, a teacher at Wayne Hills, gave birth to their son Caden, he was seven weeks premature. Though born at only three-and-a-half pounds and in the NICU for about four weeks after birth, Caden is now healthy.

As a family who has dealt first-hand with premature birth, the Agratis say they are proud to raise money on behalf of the March of Dimes, and they are asking the community for help.

“We are teaming up with Positano Restaurant next Wednesday to help support our team,” Bethany told Patch. 10% of sales at Positano’s Wednesday will be donated to the “Caden’s Crew” team and March for Babies. Get more information about the fundraiser in the attached flyer.
