Two Wayne residents will perform on stage later this month to raise money for the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing and recent tornadoes in Oklahoma.
Marissa Budnick and accompanist Donna Mateyka will perform at Cabaret for a Cause, a musical revue featuring 30 performances.
“We wanted to find a way to use our music to help,” said Mitchell Epstein, the show’s director. “This is our chance to do that, not only by entertaining an audience, but encouraging them to join us in reaching our to those who can use our help.”
Cabaret for a Cause will be performed on Sunday, Aug. 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the JCC MetroWest in West Orange.
Tickets cost $20 for adults, $15 for students. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online.
