Women In Transition’s Free Surviving Divorce Program Can Help

Women In Transition is
offering a Surviving Divorce Program designed to help women prepare for
divorce. Come join other women who have similar experiences. Discuss your
concerns about your children and other family members. The program will cover all
aspects of divorce including how to choose an attorney and understanding the
paperwork, understanding the court system to dealing with emotional issues and
family concerns. The program will run from Monday, October 7 through Monday,
November 11th from 7:00-8:30pm.

Women In Transition assists women who
need to re-enter the workforce due to separation, divorce, or the death or
disability of a spouse, resulting in the loss of their primary source of
financial support. WIT is funded by the State of New Jersey, Department of Children and Families
and in part by the N.J. State Bar Foundation. WIT offers vocational testing,
work readiness classes, assertive communication workshops, and computer
training at no cost for eligible women.
