Paws For Reading

The Preakness Branch Library of the Wayne Public Library invites youngsters to attend our “Paws For Reading” program which helps children learn – and love – to read.  Children relax, have fun, and love reading with our trained therapy dogs – and cat.  The “Paws for Reading” sessions will begin in September 2013.  Held on the first Monday of each month, children ages 5 through 10 can register for either the first seating at 3:45 p.m. or the second seating at 4:10 p.m.  Please register on-line at www.waynepubliclibrary.org/kids/kids_programs.html or in-person at the Preakness Branch Library.  For more information please phone Wendy Sandford, Reference Librarian, at 973-694-7110 ext. 6.  The Preakness Branch Library is located at 1006 Hamburg Turnpike, Wayne, New Jersey.
