James Weidman has been receiving a great deal of critical attention as a member of Joe Lovano's Us Five ensemble. But Weidman has been on the jazz scene for decades, most notably as a member of the legendary vocalist Shirley Horn's trio. He was also one of the early members of Brooklyn's M-BASE movement and has collaborated with Kevin Mahogany, Greg Osby, Lionel Hampton and James Moody. His diversity in jazz offers a performance of the highest caliber.
