CROP Hunger Walk

JOIN YOUR COMMUNITY CROP WALK


On Sunday, Oct. 14th from 1-3 pm, the annual CROP Hunger Walk will take place Lionshead Lake beginning at Our Lady of Consolation Church (Hamburg Tpk. at Colfax Ave).  CROP walks are community-wide events organized by local congregations to raise funds to end hunger in local communities and worldwide. Each mile walked raises money to help local soup kitchens and food pantries like the  Wayne Interfaith Church and Synagogue Network will be one of the organizations that benefit from our Wayne Walk.


The walk will travel around the Lionshead Lake neighborhood and back.  We invite you to walk, sponsor a walker or make a financial contribution.  You can register at www.cropwalk.org and use their online fundraising tools to join a team, start a team or make a donation.  On their home page, click on the state of New Jersey to find a list of upcoming walks.  Click on “Wayne CROP Hunger Walk” and it will take you to the registration page where you can register or donate. Let’s show the town of Wayne that we care! Invite your family and friends to join us!
