Boy Scout Troop 77 Open House

BSA TROOP 77, chartered by Bethany Church in Wyckoff, is sponsoring an open house for all boys fifth grade and older. There will be fun activities such as constructing first aid kits and emergency preparedness skills for the scouts to participate in. There will be parent representatives from the Troop Committee that can answer questions.Troop 77 plans monthly group activities and trips for the scouts such as camping, hiking, mountain biking, ski trips, visiting historical sites such as Valley Forge, Ellis Island and the Intrepid. Scouts have attended Philmont Ranch, Floodwood Reservation and Northern NJ Leadership Training Conference. Troop 77 currently has 24 members and since 1989 has produced over 40 Eagle Scouts. One of BSA Troop 77’s preeminent community service projects has been in the proper retirement of over 3000 tattered flags at Wyckoff Fire Company #1 on Flag Day.
