Urgent! Blood Drive - shortage

Urgent! NJ has the lowest % of blood donors in the nation - @ 3.2% leaves a critical 2 day shortage. Last year NJ was forced to import over 34,00 pints of blood.
Donating is safe and simple. Your one (1) pint of blood may save three (3) lives -  or those recovering from heart surgery, cancer, hemophilia, critical injury, organ transplants, bone marrow recipients...  Perhaps you or someone you love?

Before donating eat well and drink plenty of water.

  • Donors must be in good health and weigh over 110 lbs.
  • If a recent donor please wait 60 days before donating again.
  • Those under 16 yrs. need a parent permission slip.
  • Those 75+ yrs. need a permission note from their doctor.
Please say ‘yes’ to giving blood during this critical time of need and
give the
gift only you can give.  With warm thanks and anticipation...
