Wayne School Board Reorganization Meeting Thursday Night

It’s a busy day in town, so let’s take a look at what’s going on for Thursday.

1.)  The Public Image Salon, 1055 Hamburg Turnpike, will celebrate Cinco de Mayo from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Festive attire and product deals will be available throughout the day.

2.)  The Wayne Township School District board of education will hold its organization meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the municipal building, 475 Valley Road. The public is encouraged to attend.

3.)  The Van Riper-Hopper House, 533 Berdan Avenue, will host an herb plant sale from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is free.

4.)  The Wayne Public Library, 461 Valley Road, will hold a movie presentation from 2 to 4:30 p.m. No registration is required and attendees are allowed to bring refreshments and snacks.

5.)  Office Politics: An Employers’ Standpoint will be presented at William Paterson University’s Atrium Auditorium from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. The discussion will go over job market trends and politics in the workplace.
