Wayne School Board Meets Thursday Night

Half price book sale at Wayne Library too.

Here’s a list of what’s going on in town on the last day of June.

1.)  The Wayne Board of Education will hold a special meeting at 7 p.m. at 50 Nellis Drive. The public is encouraged to attend.

2.)  William Paterson University will host a performance by Palestinian musicians and dancers in the Shea Center for performing arts. Tickets are $25 to $100. For more information, .

3.)  The Friends of the Wayne Public Library will hold an all day sale, with books at half price. For more information, go here.

4.)  If you’re looking for some group exercise, today’s your day. The YM-YWHA, 1 Pike Drive, will hold three Group Power sessions; 6 to 7 a.m.; 9:15 to 10:15 a.m.; and 12:45 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.

5.)  The Northern New Jersey Chapter of the Red Cross will hold a CPR course for lifeguards from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The course fee is $65, and will last four and-a-half hours.
