Wayne Named A 'Best Place To Live'

Municipality is on Money magazine's list of Best Places To Live. Town is ranked 83rd best place to live in New Jersey.

Wayne has been included in the top 100 places to live in the United States by Money magazine.

The township was ranked the 83rd best place to live.

  • Job growth, between 2000 and 2011, decreased by 3 percent.
  • The median home price is just less than $400,000.
  • There are, on average, 0 personal crime incidents per 1,000 residents.
  • The median commuting time is 23 minutes.

In terms of recreation and eating out, there are more than 9,200 restaurants, 89 movie theaters, and 584 bars within 15 miles of Wayne.
