Wayne Day will Have Something for Everyone

Carnival rides, games, and a petting zoo are just some of the family-friendly activities planned for the annual event.

The annual Wayne Day will lots of family-friendly activities for everyone to enjoy.

The family-friendly event will be held at Wayne Valley High School, behind the Wayne Township Municipal Building, on Sunday, June 9 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • There will be children's carnival rides offered all day. Ride tickets will be affordable.
  • Free pony rides and a petting zoo.
  • The Lizard Guys will have various types of reptiles on hand, including snakes, lizards, and turtles.
  • Great Scott the Magician will perform.
  • The Wayne Fire Department and the First Aid Squad will perform live demonstrations, including using the jaws of life.
  • There will be more than 100 booths from various community organizations. Games and activiites will be held at many of the booths.

Food from various local restaurants will be available to purchase: Gencarelli's, Jersey Johnny's Grill, the Hog Wild Barbecue Company, Monzo family Kona Ice, The Fresh Mozzarella Company, R&H Shish-kabobs and Gyros, and Stars and King Softee Ice Cream.
