VOAD Needs Supplies, Volunteers to Help

Volunteer organization asking residents to help if and when the need arises. Residents can charge cell phones at St. Timothy church.

The Wayne VOAD is in need of take-home containers, paper goods, and cardboard boxes to use in the event that the organization will deliver meals to residents who have lost power after Hurricane Sandy hits North Jersey.

The organization also needs volunteers to help at the township shelter at Kilroy Park if and when it opens on Monday afternoon.

Residents may go to St. Timothy Evangelical Lutheran Church to charge their cell phones.
