Jackie Cohen’s 5-kilometer run to benefit the Special Olympics will take place Sunday, June 3 at .
Cohen is to purchase equipment and uniforms for a Special Olympics team in Passaic County. Cohen is planning and running the race as the community service project for her Girl Scout gold award.
Registration begins at 8:45 a.m.; the run begins at 10 a.m. Registration costs $25. Children 10 and younger may participate for free.
