The Wizard of Oz Hits The Stage at Packanack

Here’s a handful of events going on in town this weekend.

1.)  The Packanack Children’s Theatre, 52 Lake Drive, will present the Wizard of Oz at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Adults are $8 and children and seniors are $5. Kids under 2 years old are free. For more information, .

2.)  The Laurelwood Arboretum, 725 Pines Lake Drive, will have a plant sale and rhododendron festival on Saturday, May 7 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, .

3.)  The Grand Chalet, 1377 Route 23, will host a Mother’s Day Brunch and Dinner Buffet from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, May 8. Pricing is $34.95 per person. For more information, .

4.)  The Myastenia Gravis Walk-A-Thon will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, starting at 580 Ratzer Road. The three-mile walk will benefit people who suffer from MG, a chronic, disabling autoimmune, neuromuscular disease. Entry fee is $25. For more information, .
