Temple Beth Tikvah Hosts Tot Shabbat

Children sing songs, march in parade, and hear stories.

Temple Beth Tikvah hosted a Tot Shabbat service Friday night. Rabbi Stephen Wylen and Cantor Charles Romalis led children through the service — from the lighting of candles to the serving of hallah.

Children sang and marched in a parade during the service. Afterwards, the children ate snacks, played with toys, and participated in some special games. The service is geared to getting children excited about going to Temple. It is open to children 8 years old and younger.

The final Tot Shabbat of the school year will be held on Friday, May 20. A special Oneg Shabbat will follow it. For more information visit www.templebethtikvahnj.org.
