Students Receive Scholarship from Bank
Students awarded for excellence in academic achievement.
Two Wayne students have received scholarships from Spencer Savings Bank.
Yena Lee, a Wayne Hills High School graduate, and Matthew Karnis received a $1,000 and $500 scholarship, respectively. Lee graduated from Hills in June.
Karnis graduated from Schuyler-Colfax Middle School last month.

“I extend my sincere congratulations to Yena and Matthew, who have both shown excellence in academic achievement and a strong commitment to our community,” said Jose Guerrero, president and CEO of Spencer Savings Bank.
Spencer Savings Bank is based in Elmwood Park. It Wayne branch is on Hamburg Turnpike.
