Shelter to be Up and Running; Garbage, Recycling Collection Cancelled

Garbage, recycling, and vegetative waste collection are cancelled for Monday and Tuesday.

The township’s shelter at Kilroy Park is expected to become operational today and ready to use should residents become displaced from their homes.

Also, due to the severe nature of Hurricane Sandy, garbage, recycling, and vegetative waste collection are cancelled for Monday Oct. 29 and Tuesday Oct. 30, the township officials announced.

Residents should not place any of these materials outside their homes near the street. They will be collected on the next regular collection date.
