School Board Election, Cell Tower Report, and Some Musical Students Are on Tap This Week

We'll debut our You Said It Feature this week on Wayne Patch.

Here is what we'll be working on this week at Wayne Patch.

  • We’ll find out the latest on the controversial cell phone tower applications. We’ll find out how close the site report by RCC Communications is to being completed. T-Mobile’s five applications continue to be pushed back to later meetings this year.
  • We’ll try and talk to as many board of education candidates as we can. Gregory Janz, Laura Stinziano, and Robyn Kingston are attempting to unseat incumbents Darren Del Sardo, Donald Pavlak Jr., and Joan Walsh. Stinziano and Kingston are co-presidents of the Wayne Council of PTOs, a million dollar non-profit organization. We’ll ask them what the most pressing matters are for the 2011-2012 school year.
  • We’ll attend the district’s spring musicals later on this week and let you know how some of Wayne’s most talented and artistic students made this year’s performances memorable.
  • We’ll debut our You Said It feature and find out what residents and people who work in Wayne think of the latest issues and what moves them.
