Update: Husband Reported His Wife Missing Before Her Body was Found

Authorities are investigating what they are calling the “suspicious” death of a Wayne resident whose body was found at the base of a gorge in Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania State Police discovered the body of Gail Dews, 56, at the base of the 92-foot gorge in Shohola Falls, a press release issued by the department stated.

Former Football Star Arrested Again

Former Wayne Hills football player Andrew Monaghan has been arrested for a third time, NorthJersey.com is reporting. Monaghan, 19, was arrested on a possession of marijuana charge on March 13, the website reported.

BAE Systems Lays Off Employees

BAE Systems laid off employees from its Wayne site.

Company spokeswoman Kristin Gossel would not comment on the exact number of people who lost their jobs but BAE announced in January that some of the 800 employees at the Totowa Road location would be laid off.

Autopsy Being Conducted on Gail Dews' Body

Authorities are waiting on the results of an autopsy on Gail Dews' body.

Dews’ body was found at the bottom of a 92-foot gorge in Shohola Falls, Pa. She was 56 years old.

Resident Named First 'Ellen' Underwear Model

Resident Mike Wolfinger was named the first Ellen underwear model on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show".

Wolfinger was one of dozens of poeple who submitted pictures of themselves or their family or friends wearing DeGeneres' brand of underwear. He and four other models participated in a walk-off on a catwalk on the show.

No one was hurt in what authorities are calling an accidental fire on Indian Road.

Pat Lowe, the homeowner, said her daughter and her boyfriend were home when the fire started. They and a few pets got out of the house with no injuries.

Four Accused Of Smoking Pot At State Police Barracks

State troopers didn't have to go far to make a drug arrest. In fact, they didn't even have to leave the Totowa barracks. Four men were arrested after troopers said they were caught smoking marijuana in a car parked in the barracks lot on Minisink Road.

Gail Dews died of "multiple blunt force injuries" the Pike County coroner said.

Chemical Company to Move 300 Jobs Out of Wayne

Hundreds of Wayne jobs will be moved out of town due to a chemical manufacturing company relocating its laboratory and office space to Bridgewater.

Ashland Specialty Ingredients, which develops and manufactures chemicals for consumer and commercial products, will relocate most of its 300 workers, or about 60 percent, to a new 200,000 square-foot office in Bridgewater this summer.

Wayne Man Indicted on Kidnapping and Robbery Charges

A Wayne man was indicted on kidnapping and robbery charges stemming from an incident that occurred last year in Pequannock, dailyrecord.com reported.
