Resident Named Rotary District Governor

Lenny Agrusti will help coordinate charitable efforts in three North Jersey counties.

Wayne resident Lenny Agrusti is the newest district governor for the rotary district that encompasses Bergen, Hudson, and Passaic Counties.

Agrusti will oversee 57 Rotary International clubs, including clubs designed for middle school-, high school-, and collage-age individuals.

Rotary International is the oldest service club in the world with more than 1.2 million members in more than 200 countries. Local Rotary clubs help create programs that serve the communities where they’re located.

Agrusti joined the Wayne Rotary Club in 2003. He was elected club president in 2009. He has chaired a number of fundraisers since joining. He was awarded a Congressional Award for Community Service.

Agrusti was been a member of the Wayne First Aid Squad since 1997 and was chairman of the Wayne Elks Club.
