PBA Purchases Gift Cards from Corrado's for Flood Victims [video]

Police union buys $1,500 worth of cards.

The Wayne Policemen’s Benevolent Association Local 136 (PBA) is donating $1,500 in Corrado's gift cards to the township for flood victims.

PBA President Scott Rappaport said the act of philanthropy is “win-win for everybody.” gave the PBA a discount on the cards.

“The PBA is so happy to help out,” Rappaport said. “It’s great to see people get the help they need and support a local business at the same time.”

Township officials will distribute the cards to flood victims.

Corrado’s has donated approximately $4,000 to $5,000 in flood relief this year.

“People have been very appreciative of everything,” said co-owner Frank Corrado. “The community has been so good to us and we want to return the favor.”
