Chris Olsen will return to the sidelines to coach the Wayne Hills High School Football team next season and retire from the district as a physical education teacher in 2013.

The Board of Education approved a resolution on Tuesday accepting Olsen’s retirement.

Rob Burke has created a large garden and is raising chicken hens at his business, Wayne Auto Spa.

Burke began planting vegetables and herbs on Thursday. He also has 16 hens on the property.

Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra spoke to attendees at the Wayne YMCA on Thursday and Friday. The 20-year-olds appeared on the MTV shows “16 and Pregnant” and “Teen Mom.” 

The couple talked about what it was like to give their daughter Carly up for adoption in 2009.

Erica Evans is the founder of North Jersey Locavores, an organization dedicated to supporting local farmers and eating local, sustainably-grown, organic, and pastured food.

Allan Rombough Sr. and 20 trucking companies reached a settlement agreement with the state for allegedly dumping thousands of yards of contaminated fill and solid waste on the Top Soil Depot site since 2009.

The site is located on Pompton Plains Crossroad.

Mary Jane Tierney is saying goodbye to the Wayne Public School District After 40 years. The long-servicing administrator began working in the district as a French teacher in 1966.

We told you about Felicia Lee, a former Wayne resident who is vying for a spot on the United State’s Olympic swimming team. Lee is an All-American at Stanford University.
