Community Blood Services presents "Play with the Greats" Golf Classic

The following is a press release from Community Blood Services:

Don’t miss your chance to play with one of 20 pro athletes at Community Blood Services Foundation’s 14th annual Golf Classic May 16.

Register today for this year’s Golf Classic at the Preakness Hills Country Club, 1050 Ratzer Road. The event features former pro athletes teeing up for charity, signing autographs, posing for photos and sharing stories of their memorable careers. Among the greats expected to attend are former New York Giants Hall of Famer Harry Carson, as well as Rodney Hampton and Howard Cross.

Spots available to play with the pro athletes are limited and will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Foursome sign-ups are encouraged. Various fee levels are available to enhance the golfing experience, as well as many sponsorship opportunities.

The day begins on the driving range, leading to a BBQ lunch and pro introductions by a local broadcast personality. Golfers will play 18-holes of golf in a scramble format beginning with an 11:30 a.m. shotgun start. Multiple contests and prizes will be offered on the course and, during the cocktail hour, one golfer will take a shot at a $1 million hole-in-one.
