Municipal Offices, Library Closed for Holiday

The week begins with a day off for many.

It’s the Fourth of July, and there are a few things you should know today.

1.)  The Wayne municipal building, 475 Valley Road, is closed for business today due to the holiday. All administrative and government offices will reopen and have regular schedules on Tuesday, July 5.

2.)  The Wayne Public Library main and Preakness branches will both be closed because of the holiday. Regular hours will resume Tuesday, July 5.

3.)  Bike Night Mondays at McCobb’s Family Restaurant and Ice Cream Bar, 2391 Hamburg Turnpike, is still on for July 4, from 6 to 10 p.m. For more information, .

4.)  The United Methodist Church of Wayne, 99 Parish Drive, will hold it’s Alcoholics Anonymous meeting from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. All are welcomed to attend and there is no fee or obligation to speak.

5.)  William Paterson University will also be closed on Monday. There are no exhibits or performances available.
