Several houses of worship and businesses have been designated official Warming Stations by the township. Residents are allowed to stay at these places to charge their electronic devices and keep warm.
Some facilities will have free coffee available.
Calvary Temple International Assembly will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. The church has free Wi-Fi.
Wayne Presbyterian Church will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Wayne United Methodist Church is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m..
Walgreens on Hamburg Turnpike is allowing people to charge their electronic devices during business hours.
Residents may charge their phones, computers, and other electronics at The Village Inn restaurant on Runnymede Drive.
Other charging stations are up and running in town:
- Police Athletic League
- Elks Lodge, from 10 a.m. to noon.
- Shomrei Torah, Thursday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Positano’s restaurant, during normal business hours.
