Man Dies from Injuries Sustained in Car Accident

Incident occurred in the Burger King parking lot on Route 23 June 2.

A 43-year-old Pequannock man died from injuries he sustained after he was struck by a car in the Burger King parking lot on Route 23 earlier this month, NorthJersey.com reported.

Ramiro Soperanez, 43, was struck by a Ford Taurus in the parking lot June 2 at about 10 p.m., the website reported. Soperanez was rendered unconscious and taken to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson.

The report states he died June 3.

Taylor Inglis, of Pompton Plains, was driving the Ford, according to the report.

The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office and the Wayne Police Department are investigating the incident. A representative from either agency could not be reached for comment.
