Wayne PAL Team Wins District Championship
PAL Under 10 Team outscores their opponents by nearly 50 runs.
The Wayne Police Athletic League’s Under 10 Baseball Team recently won the District 7 Championship in the Cal Ripken League.
The team went 5-0 to claim the tittle, including a 13-0 victory against Chester. The boys scored 54 runs and gave up only five.
The team will begin playing the state championship tournament July 11 in Matawan.
